General Research 175 Pocket Parasite Jacket

The General Research Parasite Jacket was reissued as part of a two-piece collaboration with another Japanese brand IS-NESS about a year ago. IS-NESS was founded in 2001, though it has gained popularity only recently. General Research is apparently no longer around, but IS-NESS’s designer Tomomi Kishita must have convinced Kobayashi to make these reworked classics which include the classic Parasite Jacket.

This 175 Pocket Jacket is inspired by the same. It’s made of parachute material and has a soft inner viscose lining. It has a round collar and comes with 175 pockets as the name suggests. It has a button closure on the front and elastic cuffs with the sleeves. The jacket is available in three different colors, red, black and blue.
