Return and Refund Policy

At Washington Jackets, every jacket is inspected carefully before it leaves our facility. We want your experience to be worry-free, so we make this process simple and transparent.

Return and Exchange Policy:

If your order isn’t quite right — such as a size mismatch or a noticeable difference in design or color — you can request an exchange or return within 30 days of receiving your product.

We only accept returns for defective items.

Return/Refund & Exchange Eligibility:

You’re eligible for a refund or exchange if:

  • The item is unused, in its original packaging, and all tags are attached.

  • There are no alterations made by the customer.

  • You reach out within 24 hours in case of valid complaints (e.g., wrong item, major defects).

You’re not eligible for a refund or exchange if:

  • You ordered multiple similar items in different sizes just to try them on.

  • The product was custom-made or personalized.

  • The tags/labels are removed.

  • The request is due to a change of mindaccidental order, or made after 30 days.

If you ordered the wrong size, we’re happy to exchange it with the correct one. The new item will be shipped free of product charge, and you’ll only need to cover the postage cost, depending on the item’s weight and size.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email sales@washingtonjackets.com with your order number, a description of the defect, and clear photos showing the issue.

  2. Our team will review your request within one business day.

  3. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll issue your replacement or refund.

Return Shipping Cost

The buyer is responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs.

  • The initial shipping cost, even though we offer free delivery (as it still costs us to ship).

Refunds

  • Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

  • You’ll receive an email confirmation once your refund is completed.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Customs Duties

We mark all packages as gifts and offer free shipping to reduce potential customs fees. However, if your country’s customs department applies any charges, those will be the buyer’s responsibility.

Restocking Fees — Absolutely None!

At Washington Jackets, we believe in transparency and fairness.
We do not charge any restocking fee for returned or exchanged items.
You can return eligible products without worrying about extra costs for repackaging or restocking.
